Ampersand Cafe Bookstore has engaged Timothy Noye, the Director of Cooking by Design to offer specialised workshops developed to enhance your awareness and appreciation of taste. Ever wondered why certain flavours go so well together? Tomato and basil, thyme and garlic, chocolate and cherry? You will do tastings, learn the basics and new trends, brainstorm new ideas and enhance your palate. With 15 years experience in world class restaurants, Tim Noye, will guide you along giving tips and techniques for marrying flavours. What works, what doesn’t and why?

The workshop, Cooking with Couples ~ Marriage of Flavours, is running 21 September 2010 from 6.30pm – 9.00pm

Picture Perfect Time with Canapes & Wine

This workshop will enable you to join photographer Esteban La Tessa as he teaches you how to look your best for the camera. As you learn the tricks of the trade, enjoy a range of delicately crafted canapes prepared by Chef Tim Noye of Cooking by Design.
